So T has been taking dance all fall at school. Probably about halfway through the season she started telling us that she didn't like it, but we asked her to finish out the year, and she did. Saturday was her holiday recital. She looked absolutely adorable, but she really didn't want to dance. She did get up with her class though, and even though she didn't dance, we're really proud of her for being brave and staying up on stage. There were a lot of people in the audience, and I know it was pretty overwhelming for her. The whole video is on our youtube channel, but here's a shorter clip so you can get the gist of it.
Once her class was done she was back to her happy, silly self. So, she's done with dance for now, but I hope she'll want to take it up again in the future. Her teacher said she's one of the better listeners and danced in every class. Maybe one day in the future she'll be a little less shy and we'll get to see some of those dance moves. :) In the meantime, we'll be trying out some other classes. She loves her playball (sports) class, and I think we'll give a computer class a try too.
